Real estate runs deep in Samantha Ryan’s blood. From her earliest days on construction sites alongside her father, she developed an innate understanding of how places are built and why they matter. That foundation led her to earn degrees in Construction Management and Business Administration from California State University, Sacramento—formalizing what was already a lifelong calling.
Over the past two decades, Samantha has built a robust, multidisciplinary career spanning every corner of the commercial real estate industry. She has held pivotal roles in construction, ground-up development, market analytics, title, and brokerage across the western U.S. Today, she is a licensed Nevada broker and a principal in multiple real estate development partnerships—recognized by peers and clients alike as a strategic leader with an exceptional command of the development process.
In 2017, Samantha founded Storm Development Services, where she continues to serve as CEO. Under her leadership, Storm provides project consulting and fee development for commercial projects, offering services that encompass site selection and acquisition, zoning and entitlements, design consultant coordination, permitting, contract administration, investor relations, capital stack funding, and construction-phase project management.
With hands-on experience across nearly every commercial asset class, Samantha brings a particular passion for curated retail environments and inspired adaptive re-use projects. Built By Jane is a creative extension of that passion—an opportunity to thoughtfully pair dynamic users with extraordinary spaces, navigating all steps of the process with expertise and a true desire to see everyone involved win.
